It is moving super quickly and feels disjointed, the plot is — is there a plot? Maybe it’s too early in yet, but I feel like throwing Sean in is a cheap shot when we haven’t even really had the chance to get to know Jules properly. Who knows, he and the main character could be a power couple if they tried. This is probably one of the better stories Originals has presented, and I really do like it, it just needs more refinement. The latest chapter was so short, and a bit of a rushed mess.

It's honestly my favorite series out of all of them, just wish you don't have to wait so long for the next episode. I have the worst memory and always forget what happened the week before haha

I like the story but feel that you would develop the main characters more.

Has anyone realized Jules looks like the god of a man, Oscar Isaac? He seem suspicious but I don’t even care with a face like that 🤷🏼‍♀️. It’s also my favorite book so far lol mainly because of who Jules resembles.

The last few chapters have just seemed like cut and paste. Jules comes back, Jules leaves again. I love this story but has there been any character growth at all? I love this story but it’s been so disappointing. Jules better come back to his pregnant wife.

Have only just finished episode six, it’s a struggle waiting for each episode week to week but my goodness I am hooked already. Jules Jules Jules. What are we going to do with you. Pull yourself together man!

Have played another couple of episodes and I cannot keep up. Drama drama drama  I wonder if there is a real life version of Jules? I’d want to keep a wide berth!

Yes characters should develop more. As well would like to see more gems when I watch an ad. Otherwise makes it hard to do well in the stories.

I don't feel this story at all . I mean later is better but first few episodes are weird. I just met Jules and like three chapters later we are a couple (forced, not my choice, not a fan of that). He trusts me, I am his rock and woow feelings are strong and I am like "woow dude go away, I just met you. I don't care about you, you are almost stranger to me. I had no time to develop any feelings for you so why I am involved in your issues so fast?" ( and this kind of lack of connection is not only this book issue).

Don't get me wrong as I really looove storyplots, twists and writting in this app. I am huge fan.<3. I just find it hard to feel connection with characters. (like I feel in other similar apps). Maybe its because chapters here are short and there is no space for deep conversations or deep moments. I wish I could develop connections with characters more in all books basically. It would help to feel more emotions while reading.

Please forgive me my criticism but I think this kind of opinnions are needed too. : )

@MariaSilverwood, I agree with you.   I love the style and many things about the app (book variety; character customisation; the mini episodes; racial diversity of the LIs).

But there is just something...not balanced right with the LIs - their development and the connection with the MC/player.  I have NO romance points with Jules...but everyone is acting like we are together?  

And other books, even when I romance someone by the end...I often can’t remember what really happened or why I romanced the character I did (One Night Stand left me with this feeling).

I agree with you that chapters are too short, and there is a lack of character development.  And this leads to another issue - any development that might take place being locked in paid scenes.

So, there IS a lot to like about the app.  But the issues with the LIs is a major weakness.

Finally able to finish this season today. Yay! Mixed feelings ... 

I am so glad I didn’t engage myself to Jules given that he is now no where to be seen. Or is that because you don’t get engaged? It felt more intense/real toward the end as Jules struggles with mental health issues, drugs and dependency issues. Borderline not enjoyable because of the serious nature of the character! 

Will there be a season 2 anytime soon?

Just finished the book, and yeah...mixed feelings.  I want to like Famous, but the book is so leaning towards Jules and their never ending drama.  There seems no point to trying to romance another LI, because the book keeps bashing you over the head with Jules (and their never ending drama).  I really like Sean and the film/fame stuff.  If we get book 2, I really hope the writers put some effort on alternative routes or the MC being less tied up with Jules if you are not into him.

@Sorcha - completely agree with your last couple of comments. I feel the MC should have started out famous (maybe even married to Jules) and it starts to go awry rather than how it happened. The LI interactions haven’t been natural, it just wouldn’t happen like that in the real world or even in a fantasy. Hoping second season, if there is one, has more character development and the ability to move away from a particular LI if you choose to!

Just finished Famous. Felt slow at first but I grew to like it. Mostly enjoyed

the drama with Claire actually. I know she used to be the MC’s bestie but I found her off from the start. When it came to the choice of helping her out in the end I would have spent gems to not help her but I’m glad it was the other way around. I could probably do another season of being petty and going back and forth with both her and Addison.

But by the end of it I was like

I knew I never should have agreed to marry Jules and his never ending drama *shakes fist*

I liked the story, in general. Although I would preferred if there were a couple more episodes and story wasn't so rushed. A bit more of personal development from MC and Jules. 
But I'm looking forward 2nd season. You guys created such a huge cliffhanger.
I hope that you still planning on creating another season for the story.

I finished this season in a span of possibly two - three days because I’m in need of gems to mine and LORD, JULES.

MY GOOD SIR,

you are one frustrating SOB to deal with.

And no, I didn’t accept his proposal because I knew that he’s still sus after telling my MC, Bellamy that he got a therapist at the drop of the hat. I just find him suffocating, which makes him my least favorite LI. 😩

I—-the cliffhanger though… I don’t want my MC to be his saving grace again in the next season, that’s not my style. 😔

@panda so is the same ending of jules no matter of you marry or reject to marry and are with sean? thats kind of dissapointing to not have a different ending... May I suggest you atleast amke that impact season 2... If we marry Jules he/she is kidnaped and we dont you can make he/she suicide, that is what i call impact in choices.

Okay, so when I played safe word, I liked that there was character development seeing a softer side to the initial love interest. I don’t feel like I ever really got a softer side with Jules... I also didn’t experience the love and passion of Jules at all (in fairness I didn’t use gems - sort of diamond mining for safeword). So I never really felt guilt about turning him down.. 

I decided to let Jules go - not answer his phone call - tell him I’ve moved on - and tell him I’m not in love with him. When he pulled out the ring, however, I said yes.

I feel like the ending was a little too scripted to fit any situation you choose... I hope the next season explores the love interests more and perhaps works on making the MC (main character/your player) feel good / want to choose them.
